Ok so I will be moving into a new flat soon with my lovely wife-to-be, and I have also started a new job which is actually not too bad and I don’t mind it.

Will be also starting some more music as I have been working with a bloke out of glasgow on some stuff. Will update when I have more.

Also keep me away from ebay and games stores!

Ok, so not much to update.

Still getting spammed on one news article everyday, just one haha.

Have had aweful sleeping patterns and have done very little in the way of anything the last few days.

I’m also on the path to weight loss and have lost like 5 pounds so far, not bad I must say.

That is about all from me.

I’m epic tired and somewhat hungry, will attempt to do something useful tomorrow.

I have just upgraded to the beta of Google’s Chrome web browser. It’s essentially the same, however there is the inclusion of extensions reminiscent of Firefox.

It’s quite awesome, the speed and awesomeness of chrome mixed with Firefox’s extensions. Makes for an awesome browser.

Just thought I would update and say that I have uploaded a new song, well I say new it’s a cover of Unwritten Law – Rest of my life.

Also I have been enjoying my time off from work with lots of anime, music and xbox.

Hey guys,

So for the last three days I have watched in awe at snow falling around me, collecting on the ground and creating this beautiful blanket of white. I love it!

I wanna take some photos of it with my holga, I have film now, its just I have been sleeping in to get ready for night shift which will be a bitch. tomorrow maybe?

Also, tonight is the final push for RATM vs X Factor. Good on all those rock and well anything other than pop fans out there, letting their voice be heard. In the face of a media machine and bad publicity a “grassroots” movement has totally worked its arse off to get to where it is. To those that critisize, I have some counter arguments.

1. They are both on sony.
A. This may be true but it is also a consequence of music in general. At the time they didn’t have the internet to promote themselves so like it or not they had no choice but to join a major.

2. Bullying.
A. For the most part people on the RATM side of things have maintained that Joe is a nice person and a great singer, It’s a rebellion of general control of the charts, having money to control their position then making more money, this leaves other people and of course other genres without an ability to make it to number 1.

3. Other artists such as Frank Sinatra never wrote their own songs…
A. This is true, However to compare artists from 50 years ago to the industry now is a stretch. The industry is totally different as is the audience, also this all changed in the 1960’s as people began to rebel and have their voices heard. Music at that time wasn’t the platform for peoples individuality as it is now.

4. It’s a shit song.
A. Personal preference I guess. However to dismiss it outright like that shows that you don’t know people very well. If it were truly a shit song, then this movement wouldn’t have happened.

In summery, what is being done here is a mix of things. It would be silly to believe everyones reason for this is the same, however the goal is. Some of us are sick of the charts being controlled by X factor because we see it as a way of controlling the masses, and ultimately gaining money and power because of it. Everything done in the industry is a carefully plotted manipulation to gain money. This is the same for any industry as money and power are so very sought after.

Others just love the song.

And others just want a laugh.
